Carnelian Room

Choose a Dining Room with a Spectacular View

We encourage our guests to discuss menu and beverage recommendations with our private dining staff and Executive Chef, who will make themselves available to create and assist you in making a unique and personalized menu for your special event. We are committed to quality and performance to give your guests a most memorable fine dining experience all tailored to meet your budget and preferences. Our professional staff can arrange everything from floral bouquets to audio visual systems to meet the requirements and desires you have in making your function a complete success. Menus are available from $31 per person for lunch and $55 per person for dinner.

The Main Dining Room

Seating Capacity: 300 (Public Dining Room)
View: Views of the Bay Bridge, Treasure Island, Alcatraz, and the East Bay hills
Ambiance: Warm and elegant describes this formal dining room. While you are admiring the view, you will also admire our attentive and professional staff who are here to serve you award-winning Contemporary American Cuisine. Our 40,000 bottle wine cellar (see review ) has won the prestigious "Grand Award" from Wine Spectator each year continuously since it's creation 22 years ago.
Event Types: Evening and Sunday Brunch dining, private parties, receptions.
Dress Code: Jackets required for gentlemen; ties are optional; dressy casual for ladies; no jeans, sneakers, or shorts.

The Board Room
(for private events only)

Seating Capacity: Minimum group: 40 to Max of 100 (Private Dining Room)
Ambiance: This exclusive room has stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco’s Nob Hill. High vaulted double ceilings, elegant paneling and opulent chandeliers set off by modern sculptures provide first class ambience for up to 100 guests. It also has a hidden back projected screen for those in need of special audio visual options.

The Chairman’s Suite
(for private events only)

Seating Capacity: Minimum group: 40 to Max of 100 (Private Dining Room)
Ambiance: This beautiful room can accommodate forty guests who will love the breathtaking corner views that encompass the Bay Area’s best view from a private room. From the Pacific Ocean and Nob Hill to the Golden Gate, Alcatraz and Mount Tamalpais, this world class room leaves no wonder as to why it’s called The Chairman’s Suite.

The Pacific Room
(for private events only)

Seating Capacity: Minimum group: 40 to max of 180 (Private Dining Room)
View: Wraparound views of the entire Bay Area including the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, Alcatraz, the TransAmerica Pyramid, and Treasure Island.
Ambiance: The warm walnut paneling is reminiscent of an English Manor.
Event Types: Perfectly suited for weddings, business meetings, corporate receptions, or large social gatherings. For a formal or casual event, the Pacific Room is an excellent choice. Contemporary American cuisine and fine wines from our award winning wine cellar round out your event.

The Tamalpais Room
(for private events only)

Seating Capacity: Minimum 2 - 8
View: Overlooks the Golden Gate Bridge and Pacific Ocean with spectacular day and night views.
Ambiance: A waitperson is assigned specifically to you, and you control the pace of your evening with special "call" buttons. This is the quintessential location for that very special event. Excellent food and fine wines from our award winning wine cellar perfects the occasion.
Event Types: A perfect hideaway for a party of two. Celebrate an intimate evening in your own private room.

The Golden Gate Room
(for private events only)

Seating Capacity: Minimum 20 group: 20 - to max of 60 (Private Dining Room)
View: The Pacific Ocean and Golden Gate Bridge, and views of Pacific Bell ball park are the backdrop for this room.
Ambiance: Excellent food and fine wines round out your experience. Our professional and attentive staff is here to cater to all of your business or social needs.

The Coit Room
(for private events only)

Seating Capacity: Minimum group: 12 to max of 24 (Private Dining Room)
View: Coit Tower and the TransAmerica Pyramid are at your fingertips and Alcatraz sits like a jewel in the Bay.
Ambiance: Coffered ceilings, walnut paneling, and masterworks from the 18th and 19th century provide a warm and welcome ambience. Fine food and professional and attentive service completes the picture.

The Belvedere Room
(for private events only)

Seating Capacity: Minimum group: 40 to Max of 180 (Private Dining Room)
View: Whether you choose to have an event in the daytime or evening you and your guests will be sure to marvel over the views of the Bay and Alcatraz, the Transamerica Pyramid and Treasure Island.
Ambiance: Warm walnut paneling and 18th and 19th century masterpieces create an ambience that is suitable for business and social events. Fine food and excellent wines from our award winning wine cellar enhance the occasion.

The Yosemite Room
(for private events only)

Seating Capacity: Up to 20 guests individually, or combined with the Game Room for up to 40. (Private Dining Room)
Ambiance: The Southern exposure of Carnelian Room’s 360 degree view has The Game Room and Yosemite Room overlooking the entire South Bay, East Bay Hills and SBC baseball park. These rooms can be combined for up to 40 guests or individually up to 20 guests each to provide an intimate site for business or fun.
Event Types: Our professional and attentive staff is here for all of your business and social needs.

The Bay Room

Seating Capacity: 90 seated guests can be arranged in various configurations with reception capacity being 180. The Bay Room & Wine room can be joined for groups up to 300.
View: Beautiful views of the Bay Bridge, East Bay, ATT Park and San Jose dominate the room.
Ambiance: Excellent food and fine wines round out your experience. Our professional and attentive staff is here to cater to all of your business or social needs.

The Game Room

Seating Capacity: Up to 20 guests individually, or combined with the Yosemite Room for up to 40. (Private Dining Room)
