Getting Here

From Downtown San Francisco
(30 Minutes)
Take 19th Avenue to US-101.
Take US-101 North over the Golden Gate Bridge. Exit on East Alexander.
Make a left on Bridgeway, and Casa Madrona will be on the left hand side.

From San Francisco International Airport
(45 Minutes)
Take US-101 North out of the airport for approximately 5 miles.
Go North on I-280 and get off before the Golden Gate Bridge on CA- 1/19th Ave.
Follow this to US-101 North, over the Golden Gate Bridge.
Take the East Alexander Exit.
Follow Alexander to Bridgeway.
Make a left on Bridgeway, and Casa Madrona will be on the left hand side.

From the Oakland Airport
(75 Minutes)
Take Hwy 880 North to 80.
Get on Hwy 580 West to the San Rafael Bridge.
Cross the bridge ($3.00 toll) and get off at the Sir Francis Drake Blvd. exit. Stay to the left, go through town, and follow signs to Hwy 101 South.
Take Hwy 101, approximately 6 exits, to the Sausalito/Marin City exit.
Go left at the first light, then go under the freeway and turn right at the light onto Bridgeway.
Travel 1.5 miles to downtown Sausalito.
Casa Madrona will be on the right hand side, at 801 Bridgeway.

From Monterey and Carmel - Scenic Route
(Three Hours)
Take Hwy 1 up the coast.
Follow signs to 19th Avenue.
Follow 19th Avenue for several miles through Golden Gate Park.
Take Hwy 101 North over the Golden Gate Bridge.
Take the East Alexander Exit. Follow Alexander to Bridgeway.
Make a left on Bridgeway, and Casa Madrona will be on the left hand side.

From Napa Valley
(One Hour)
Take Hwy 29 to Hwy 12.
Take Hwy 121 through Sonoma Valley.
Follow Hwy 37 West to 101 South.
Stay on US-101 South to the Sausalito/Marin City exit.
Go left at the first light, then go under the freeway and turn right at the light onto Bridgeway.
Travel 1.5 miles to downtown Sausalito.
Casa Madrona will be on the right hand side, at 801 Bridgeway.

From Sonoma Valley
(One Hour)
Take Hwy 121 through Sonoma Valley.
Follow Hwy 37 West to US-101 South.
Stay on US-101 South to the Sausalito/Marin City exit. Go left at the first light, then go under the freeway and turn right at the light onto Bridgeway.
Travel 1.5 miles to downtown Sausalito.
Casa Madrona will be on the right hand side, at 801 Bridgeway.

Golden Gate Ferry ~ operates year-round from the San Francisco Ferry Terminal (located on Embarcadero at the foot of Market Street) to Sausalito. Cost is $5.60 each way for adults and $4.20 for children (six to 12 years old).

Blue & Gold Ferry ~ operates May 18 through September 2, 2002 from Fisherman's Wharf Pier 41 (at the intersection of Embarcadero and Powell Street) to Sausalito. Cost is $6.75 for adults and $3.25 for children (five to 11 years old).
