Castle Air Museum

The Castle Air Museum stands as a tribute to the men and women of the past who put their lives on the line for our freedom. Presently, the museum has 46 World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam Era aircraft on display. Rare aircraft such as the SR-71, B-24 and the only surviving RB-36, all restored and maintained by our devoted volunteer staff. These aircraft, like the B-17 Flying Fortress, the B-29 Superfortress, the B-52 Stratofortress and the B-25 Mitchell Bomber, as well as the Mustang, Thunderbolt and Lightning are as much a part of America's heritage as Independence Hall, and the Battlefield at Gettysburg.

Convenient Location:
Castle Air Museum is located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, adjacent to Castle Airport in Atwater. Driving time is approximately 1 hour from Fresno, 2 hours from Sacramento, 2 hours from Yosemite and 3 hours from San Francisco.

Castle Air Museum offers the experience of a lifetime. From the moment you step foot on our grounds, you are taken on a tour through history. Each Aircraft on display tells you a tale of victory
as well as a tale of the men and women who fought for that victory.

May 1 thru September 30: 10 am -5 pm.
October 1 thru April 30: 10 am - 4 pm.
