Birthday Parties
Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose is the perfect place to host your next birthday party. Let our expert staff take care of the details so you and your guests can celebrate without the fuss. Encourage active learning in a family-friendly environment.
Choose from the following options:
Option 1: Basic Birthday Party - $250
- All day admission for 12 children and 6 adults*
- One hour in our private birthday room
- Museum staff member to help host party
- Invitations with maps for each guest
- Two free Museum passes for birthday child
- Cost: $250.00 12 children and 6 adults
Option 2: Level 2 Birthday Party - $350
- All day admission for 12 children and 6 adults*
- One hour in our private birthday room
- Museum staff member to help host party
- Invitations with maps for each guest
- Two free Museum passes for birthday child
- Gift bag for each child
- Choice of food or activity for child guests
- Cost: $350.00 12 children and 6 adults
Option 3: Level 3 Birthday Party - $475
- All day admission for 15 children and 7 adults*
- One and a half hours in our private birthday room
- Museum staff member to help host party
- Invitations with maps for each guest
- Two free Museum passes for birthday child
- Gift bag for each child
- Food and beverage for up to 15 children
- Art or science activity
- Cost: $475.00 15 children and 7 adults
Option 4: Private Birthday Party - After-Hours - $1000
- Available February – October only
- Private use of the museum for up to 50 guests, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.**
- Museum staff members to help host party
- Invitations with maps for each guest
- Two free Museum passes for birthday child
- Gift bags for up to 25 children
- Food and beverage for up to 25 children

- All membership levels will receive a discount of $25.00
- Maximum capacity for the birthday party room is 24 people
