The Coyote Point Museum
Our Mission:
The Coyote Point Museum for Environmental Education is a learning center that inspires each of us to make a lifelong commitment to act responsibly in caring for the earth. We provide engaging, educational experiences for our diverse, multi-generational Bay Area community through wildlife, gardens, exhibitions, and programs that relate to the global environment.
Gardens:
Explore themed gardens which encompass 1.3 acres including a Hummingbird Garden, Butterfly Habitat and Nature's Marketplace, featuring native plants used by Native Californians.
Environmental Hall:
Take an imaginary walk from the mountains to the shore, exploring the six ecosystems found in the San Francisco Bay Area: Redwood Forest, Oak Forest, Grasslands, Chaparral, Baylands and Coast.
Aviary:
Experience a refurbished, serene walk-through park with waterfall and pond where dozens of indigenous shorebirds and songbirds make their home.
Wildlife Habitats:
View up-close over 150 rescued, non-releasable animals native to California, including a bobcat, river otters, rattlesnakes and raptors.
