HEFEWEIZEN (hay-fa-VEIT-sen)


Once reserved for Bavarian royalty for its light,
sparkling quality. Later, wheat beers were
considered breakfast or after church beers, a
testament to their crisp, refreshing flavor.
Original gravity: 12.5° Plato Alcohol by volume: 5.50%




PILSNER


A crisp, golden, highly hopped lager. This beer
was first brewed in Pilsen, Czechoslovakia in
1842 using a sample of special yeast smuggled
from Germany by a Czech monk.
Original gravity: 12.0° Plato Alcohol by volume: 5.30%




SEASONAL


Watch for our seasonal beers brewed fresh year
round. Each season we offer a special beer that
we feel embraces the season and adds a unique
flavor and spirit. Enjoy our traditional German
style beer and anticipate our seasonal blends.




MÄRZEN (Maert-zen)


A dry, auburn-colored, Bavarian lager with a
mildly sweet fi nish. It was originally brewed in
March (“März” in German) and stored in caves
to be drunk during warmer weather.
Original gravity: 13.5° Plato Alcohol by volume: 5.70%




SCHWARZBIER


Literally “black beer” in German, Schwarzbier
has a fairly light body with a dry, roasted finish.
Original gravity: 11.2° Plato Alcohol by volume: 4.29%




BLONDE BOCK


A medium hopped beer with a rich, malty
flavor. Bock beers were originally brewed by
monks to minimize hunger pains during their fasting periods.
Original gravity: 16.5° Plato Alcohol by volume: 7.00%
