A Coach America company, Franciscan Lines / San Francisco Sightseeing - Gray Line, operates the largest privately owned motorcoach charter and sightseeing tour company in Northern California.

With a staff of 180 employees and a fleet of eighty (80) vehicles, our team of professionals are eager to be a part of your travel experience; whether it is enjoying one of our many daily Gray Line sightseeing tours, moving your private charter group, operating and managing your convention shuttle service needs, transporting your school field trip, or providing scheduled shuttle service for your employees, Franciscan Lines has over forty years of experience providing safe, reliable service to our San Francisco Bay Area clients, as well as our international family of customers.

Our fleet of vehicles includes 41-57 passenger motorcoaches; motorized cable cars, mini buses, and English double decker buses. Franciscan Lines is licensed by the USDOT (#1167666), and the California Public Utilities Commission (TCP 16877A).

We are certified by the California Highway Patrol as a S.P.A.B. carrier for school related activities, and are a fully compliant A.D.A. (Americans with Disabilities) company.

Free Pick Up and Return Shuttle

We free shuttle service from centrally located San Francisco hotels and motels. Please see your hotel agent or call San Francisco Sightseeing / Gray Line at (415) 434-8687 for your detailed pick up time. Please be punctual for your pick up time, but allow at least ten (10) minutes for possible traffic delays.

Please note: There is no hotel pick-up for Motorized Cable Car & Trolley Hop.

San Francisco Ticket Locations

For your convenience, San Francisco Sightseeing / Gray Line tours are available from our ticket locations at Pier 39, Pier 41 and Pier 43 1/2. Reservations can be made with your hotel Concierge, Gift Shop, Front Desk or Bell Desk.
