From vast ballrooms to boardrooms and every room in between, our beautifully appointed Monterey Bay conference centers can be set up in just about any style to satisfy your requirements.

To ensure your event meets your standards, all of our meeting and banquet facilities offer individual controls for heat / air conditioning, sound, music, telephones, multiple electrical / microphone outlets, audiovisual equipment, and 100V single-phase and 220V single-phase electricity.

Regency Grand Ballroom

Our largest meeting space, this expansive yet welcoming ballroom is the ideal setting for just about any event. Natural light flows in from outdoor heated terraces, one on each side of the ballroom. Host the opening session to your conference with a theater-style set up for 1,200. Enjoy a formal banquet, complete with dance floor and stage for entertainment, with seating for 1,000. The room easily divides into several separate salons, with capacity to seat from 30 to 500 guests, depending on the set up. The adjacent prefunction foyer works well for event registration tables, early morning continental breakfast buffets or cocktails prior to a dinner.

Monterey Grand Ballroom

Elegant chandeliers add a warm glow to this spacious venue. Select the entire room for a classic reception for 800, or a theater-style lecture for 500 colleagues. For smaller groups, the ballroom can be configured into various combinations to fit your needs. Arrange training sessions in a classroom setting for 120 in each of the four separate rooms, or team-building events with 50 participants each. The ballroom is complete with an outdoor terrace and is located adjacent to the main building.

Spyglass / Big Sur / Windjammer

Three of our flexible breakout rooms, each can accommodate a wide assortment of events and set-ups. Hold continuing education courses in classroom settings ranging from 120 to 24 attendees. Set up brain-storming sessions or department head meetings in U-shape format for 20 to 50. The close proximity of the rooms to each other enables you to use the rooms in combination, with luncheon buffets in one and meetings in the others.

Cypress / Oak Tree

Two additional breakout rooms offer the added bonus of outdoor terraces. Create an open-air coffee break or set up tables for a lunch break and take advantage of our charming Monterey County scenery.

Boardrooms / Hospitality Suites

Each of our three boardroom suites – Salinas, Carmel and Seaside - offer deluxe executive meeting facilities that can easily be combined with a guestroom to serve as a hospitality suite. Classic boardroom styling, including an elegant marble top table and leather chairs, combine with natural light from terrace doors and windows for a room fit for your most important conferences.

Mark Thomas / Presidio / Steinbeck

Three additional boardrooms offer traditional boardroom styling, with marble top tables and executive leather chairs. Mark Thomas and Presidio feature terraces and can accommodate up to 12 guests, while Steinbeck, with capacity to 8, offers the convenience of a location close to the main lobby and pool area.
