The Inn at the Tides

The Inn at the Tides is an enclave of luxuriously appointed guest lodges nestled into the rumpled hills above Bodega Bay’s harbor. Located on Coast Highway One, just 60 miles north of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, this classic coastal retreat keeps watch over the homeport of one of the most productive fishing fleets on the Pacific Coast. Bodega Bay is ideal, too, for your meetings and conferences. The Inn at the Tides meeting and resort complex offers everything you would need to make your event a success, from a group of five to a reception for 150 guests.

Restaurants & Fish Market

Panoramic views and a spectacular sunset await you at the Bay View Restaurant and Lounge. Dining in the Bay View Restaurant is a celebration of Sonoma-Continental Cuisine. Our chef uses the freshest seafood, meats, poultry, and vegetables Sonoma County has to offer. Our menu changes weekly and we offer an extensive Sonoma and Napa County wine list.

The Tides Wharf & Restaurant
was made famous in the early 1960's when it was used in many scenes of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic movie, “The Birds” starring Tippi Hedren and Rod Taylor. Since then, visitors from around the world visit The Tides hoping for a glimpse of some scenery from the movie. The Tides Wharf was rebuilt in 1997 and is a must stop for tourists traveling the Sonoma County and the coastline.

Wedding Receptions

The spectacular Sonoma Coast is the perfect backdrop for your wedding reception. Our Bay View Dining Room overlooks Bodega Bay's scenic harbor with sweeping views of the bay and spectacular sunsets. It also features a beautiful outdoor tiled terrace, high, open-beamed ceilings and an inviting fireplace. It is a truly unique and lovely setting for your special event.

Wedding receptions in the Bay View Room may be held between the hours of 11am and 4pm and will accommodate up to 100 guests.

The Wharf Room, located on the waters' edge at The Tides Wharf, is available from 3pm to 8pm and will accommodate up to 100 guests. Constructed in 1998 this new facility features a wall full of windows overlooking the bay, dramatic high-beamed ceilings and beautifully tiled floors.

Full food and beverage service is provided by our catering department. You may choose from a wide selection of buffet or a la carte menus. We specialize in the freshest of local seafood, meats, poultry and produce and can create a menu to fit your needs. The prices for buffet selections begin at $35 per person and a la carte selections begin at $45 per person. An 18% service charge and sales tax are applied to all food and beverage charges.
