Le Colonial
San Francisco, CA – The San Francisco debut of Le Colonial brings a taste of French Colonial Southeast Asia to the Bay Area. Le Colonial is located at the legendary San Francisco address, 20 Cosmo Place, once the site of the historic Trader Vic's. With successful restaurants established from coast to coast, the owners of Le Colonial decided they were ready to bring their distinctive style of Vietnamese cuisine and ambiance to the country's foremost food city.
In addition to the intimate main dining area, Le Colonial has an outdoor veranda offering sanctuary from the bustle of the city, plus the increasingly rare opportunity to enjoy an after dinner cigar. The upstairs bar and lounge provides a relaxed salon ambiance with its faded oriental rugs, decorative bamboo birdcages, low wood tables and comfortable couches. The lounge is appropriate for tea, cocktails, appetizers or casual dining.

Unwind over an exotic cocktail to the soothing sounds of the Downtown Uproar, playing weekly from 5:30pm - 9:30 pm in our upstairs lounge.

Every first Saturday of the month "Jet-Set" is the party to attend with deejay Rob. There is a $10.00 cover for this event.

Ambiance & Decor:
This 1920's themed two-tiered french vietnamese restaurant features two dining rooms on the main floor. Both decorated with patchwork tile floors, tall shuttered windows, graceful palm fronds, a stamped tin ceiling, twirling fans and vintage lamps.
The upstairs lounge and outdoor veranda offer a relaxed salon furnished with rattan couches with soft green cushions, antique oriental rugs and low wood tables. A comfortable setting for tea, cocktails and appetizers.
