The Tides Wharf & Restaurant
The Tides Wharf & Restaurant was made famous in the early 1960's when it was used in many scenes of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic movie, “The Birds” starring Tippi Hedren and Rod Taylor. Since then, visitors from around the world visit The Tides hoping for a glimpse of some scenery from the movie. The Tides Wharf was rebuilt in 1997 and is a must stop for tourists traveling the Sonoma County and the coastline.

Today, The Tides is a 150-seat restaurant that has “no tables available, without a view of the bay”. Locally caught, fresh seafood specialties, pasta, steak and lobster are served daily. Enjoy an extensive wine list or a cocktail at the beautiful bar which overlooks the bay. Guests may also enjoy a cocktail outside on the covered patio.
